Hey folks - thanks for checking out my CAGED Course lessons
There are in fact 2 separate courses CAGED - Major & CAGED - Minor
N.B. I do recommend completing the CAGED - Major course first which may be all you need!
CAGED - Major Introduction:
In this introduction I want to explain how this specific course works as you progress through it.
Prerequisites: The expectation is that you are already familiar with the 5 open shaped chords - C A G E & D. It also helps if you understand that each shape is transposable. If you can play bar chords then you will most probably be pretty familiar with the E major shape & A major shape already - maybe not so much the others if at all. Don’t worry too much as I will go over it.
CAGED - Major = 6 units, 24 lessons.
C - Unit 1 A - Unit 4 G - Unit 5 E - Unit 1 D - Unit 2
The complete CAGED - Major course is made up of 5 Units which each contain 4 lessons. Once you grasp the concepts, it's quite possible to complete a unit of 4 lessons in a couple of weeks if you put in the time to get the stuff under your fingers.
In Unit 6 we’ll learn how to play over all the changes (chords) in specific areas of the fretboard without having to move around!
So…...each unit is taught separately and will introduce you to one of the CAGED chord positions or shapes, the need-to-know scales and how to apply them. We’ll use these ‘need-to-knows’ over a purpose - made backing track designed to cement it all in, keep it fun and moving ahead fast!
CAGED - Minor Introduction:
In this introduction I want to explain how this specific Minor
course works as you progress through it.

CAGED - Minor = 6 units, 24 lessons.
C - Unit 3 A - Unit 4 G - Unit 5 E - Unit 1 D - Unit 2
The complete CAGED - Minor course is made up of 5 Units which each contain 4 lessons. Once you grasp the concepts, it's quite possible to complete a unit of 4 lessons in a couple of weeks if you put in the time to get the stuff under your fingers.

In Unit 6 we’ll learn how to play over all the changes (chords) in specific areas of the fretboard without having to move around!
Unit 7
Unit 7 is for those students who have completed both courses where we pull them both together learning how to play over songs with minor and major chords in them, with a focus on hitting the target notes in the changes.
What’s the cost?
Private lessons - All of my one on one lessons, regardless of the course or pathway, are $25 x 30 minutes
